Checklist for identifying potential COI in RECs
- Will anyone on the SGC review board benefit financially from the research?
- Will anyone on the review board benefit financially or otherwise from having the research protocol approved or rejected?
- Will anyone on the review board avoid a financial loss as a result of the research?
- Is anyone on the review board associated in any way with the research community?
- Is anyone on the review board associated with a third party that stands to benefit financially or otherwise from having the research proposal approved/rejected and/or having the research conducted/postponed/cancelled?
- Does anyone on the SGC review board serve as a consultant for any organisation associated with the proposed research?
- Will anyone on the review board be associated with the drafting and/or dissemination of findings and outputs?
